Leading Change and Growth is for people who need to lead their organizations through change. It is for experienced, senior people who know that change presents a challenge and would like to know more about the science and art of leading a successful implementation.
You will explore your leadership style and how to lead people through change as well as examining potential routes to growth for organizations. Working in groups, you will tackle your own challenges and develop the confidence and judgment to make changes when you return to your organization.
Content and Structure
Before the residential part of your program, you will:
Complete a 360º questionnaire to support your self awareness
Receive preparation work designed specifically for you
Choose your elective sessions which offer you the chance to focus on specialist areas most relevant to your situation
During the program you will learn how to:
Lead change in a more organized, deliberate way
Improve your understanding of the types of change and different approaches that work in other organizations
Design an organization that has the best chance of succeeding
Work with culture so that it supports rather than hinders success
Build a set of tools for leading change reliably and thoroughly
Use the right messages at the right time for the right people
Turn good intentions into programs that enhance performance
Make the personal changes you need to be an effective change leader
Take control of change rather than letting it happen to you
The program also includes:
Your choice of elective sessions and clinics on your own specific strategic issues and leadership challenges
A one-to-one coaching session
A month after the residential phase, you will have a personal ‘back to work’ briefing with a tutor who will discuss how the new tools and plans are helping you succeed in the workplace.
You will become a member of the Ashridge Alumni network, which is an excellent opportunity to continue your personal development and networking.
You are also given continued access to your online program portal and Virtual Ashridge content for six months after your residential stay. Ongoing support and further learning opportunities are available with Ashridge Momentum.
